Why Be for 4-Peace?

This Peace program is part of a global Peace through Tourism initiative, made up of international tourism-related organizations who actively support the mission of promoting peace worldwide in alignment with the United Nation’s - 2025 International Year of Peace.

Our Purpose - The Peace through Tourism Group believes that all youth are global citizens & Influencers for change; and as a traveler you are a potential Ambassador for Peace. Whether you are a current or future traveler—and whether you travel around your local community or around the world, you have the opportunity to make peace a part of your journey and an ability to become an Influencer 4-Peace.

How do you define peace? Peace likely means something differently to each of us. Is peace the absence of chaos or the presence of harmony? The first step in being 4-Peace, is finding out what it means to you. Find your personal peace, then live it everyday. When you embrace peace in your own life, you have the ability to make a positive influence & impact in your own world (Home, School, & Community) and in the larger world!

4-Peace and Pass It On, gives you actionable ways to find and live your own peace. Once you have a understanding of your personal peace, your efforts live it and to Pass it On will create a positive and lasting influence on others.

Step 1 begins your journey. It starts by finding your own personal peace! To create peace in our larger world, you must first create Peace in your own World.

Step 2 means having the confidence in your personal view of peace and in embracing peace in your everyday life.

Step 3 is your action step to start making an impact. Having the knowledge and desire to advocate your peace will transform your world and that of others.

On

Step 4 is to process to pass peace forward. Giving others the opportunity hear your peace and to find & live their own peace. It’s time to be 4-Peace and Pass it On.
